We take the wellbeing of the postgraduate students very seriously. If you'd like to talk to us about anything then please get in touch with one of our Postgraduate Coordinators, Ms Charlie Done or Ms Joy ElDieb. Charile works as coordinator on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Joy works Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday. They can help you find solutions to most things and offers the reassurance of a safe, confidential and discreet environment.

Joy and Charlie can help you find solutions to such things as:

  • Homesickness
  • Culture shock
  • Academic problems
  • Loneliness and or isolation
  • Depression
  • Financial problems
  • Time management issues
  • Communication problems
  • Event organisation
  • Relationship questions
  • Health problems
  • Personal development needs
  • Accommodation issues
  • Emotional problems
  • Tutor or supervisor problems
  • Visa queries

Joy and Charlie aims to provide practical and sensible solutions with a comprehensive referral service. If your need is not on the list above please do not be afraid to contact her, if she cant assist you immediately she will find a way to help and arrange a further meeting with you.
